Job summary

Hacienda Macalauan, Inc. seeks a QA Manager to oversee GMP practices at the dairy plant in Laguna. This role leads audits, CAPA, staff training, and cross-functional coordination to sustain food safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have 5+ years in food manufacturing QA and strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, GLP, and ISO/FSSC 22000. A proactive, detail‑oriented leader is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemistry or related fields and 5+ years in QA for food manufacturing.
• Strong GMP, HACCP and GLP background with familiarity in ISO/FSSC standards.
• Proven management, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GMP and QA practices across the dairy plant.
• Lead GMP audits and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor and close gaps from audits and pest control.
• Provide GMP trainings to plant staff and auditors.
• Supervise QC, micro and psyco-chem analyses in-line.
• Investigate non-conformities and initiate CAPA.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and QA leadership.
• Support audits and ensure timely performance reviews.
• Disseminate important information to staff and management.
• Validate CIP and document cleaning procedures.
• Assist internal and external audits as needed.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overall Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)of Dairy Plant
2. Conducts GMP Audit (Weekly and Monthly) and recommends corrective and preventive action.
3. Ensure constant follow up of GMP corrective actions and closure of gaps.
4. Coordinates with Pest control and ensure of Gaps raised by pest controller.
5. Conducts GMP Training to Dairy Plant Staff
6. Oversees In-line QC, Micro and Psyco Chem analyst.
7. Analyzes and verifies results in monitoring forms.
8. Initiates investigation of seen non-compliance
9. Liaise with cross functional department.
10. Support QARD Manager in overseeing all QA Anlayst.
11. Responsible in timely and objective appraisal of subordinates.
12. Disseminates important information.
13. Conducts CIP validation and Document cleaning Procedures.
14. Supports in internal and external audits.
15. Carry out any duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management.

Minimum Education:

Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Food Technology, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Biology, and the likes.

Experience Required:

Minimum 5-year experience in food manufacturing, preferably in QA set-up.
