Job Description

The position involves quality control responsibilities in a manufacturing environment, including reporting, GMP adherence, in-line monitoring, and laboratory analyses.

Responsibilities

• Reports
  • Prepare daily reports, weekly and monthly quality control summaries.
  • Issue non-conformance slips for encountered plant problems.
  • Submit daily reports regarding issues, concerns and quality problems in the plant.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Maintain quality products produced based on quality standards.
  • Verify in-process rejects or wastage in production.
  • Participate in the effective implementation of GMP in the plant.
• In-line Monitoring
  • Conduct line checking and monitor Cake/Snacks/Confectioneries from raw material preparation, processing to finished product based on set standards.
  • Revalidate/assess leftover seasonings, flavors or ingredients and in-process quality defects.
• Laboratory Analyses
  • Perform analyses such as % moisture content, % free fatty acid (FFA) content, total fat content of finished goods and peroxide value fats and oils.
  • Conduct sensory tests for raw material deliveries.
  • Prepare logbooks for the different quality control analyses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition/Dietetics or Equivalent.
