Job summary

Philstone Industrial & Manufacturing Corp. seeks an experienced QA/QC Supervisor in the Philippines to lead daily QA/QC laboratory and plant inspection activities. You will ensure product quality, oversee sampling and testing, and drive CAPA initiatives across production lines.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, 3–5 years in QA/QC, and 1–2 years in supervision, with strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field
• 3-5 years QA/QC experience in manufacturing
• 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods (e.g., particle size analysis, titration, moisture analysis)
• Familiarity with industrial processes such as milling, classification, and material handling
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QA/QC laboratory and plant inspection activities
• Ensure consistent quality of calcium carbonate products (e.g., particle size, brightness, purity, moisture content)
• Monitor and control production processes including crushing, grinding, classification, and packaging
• Conduct routine sampling and laboratory testing of raw materials and finished goods
• Maintain and enforce quality standards, procedures, and documentation
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to improve product consistency and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Prepare quality reports, certificates of analysis (COA), and audit documentation
• Train QA/QC staff and operators on quality procedures and testing methods
• Participate in internal and external audits
