Job summary

Strategic-Tek Groupe Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Engineer to implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for electrical works on site. The role requires review of drawings, specs, and method statements to ensure compliance with plans and project requirements.

Candidates should have a BE in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and at least 1 year of related experience in construction QA/QC, with strong documentation and field inspection skills. On-site work is expected.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reports to the Sr. Supervisor.

• Implement and maintain the project’s QA/QC procedures for electrical works.

• Review approved electrical drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards before commencement of work.

• Ensure that electrical installation works comply with approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.

• Monitor the quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship delivered and installed on site.

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical works and identify non-conforming works or deficiencies.

• Prepare and issue inspection reports, punch lists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), when necessary.

• Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify proper rectification of identified deficiencies.

• Witness and document testing and commissioning activities.

• Ensure that completed electrical works are properly tested, inspected, and accepted before turnover.

• Maintain complete QA/QC records and electrical inspection documentation.

• Maintain records of approved materials, inspections, testing, NCRs, corrective actions, and punch-list items.

• Assist in preparing project quality reports and turnover documentation.

• Ensure that documentation is properly organized and available for project audit and turnover.

• Attends to other company matters/concerns (outside of the regular functions) when required, or upon advice.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Licensed Electrical Engineer.

• At least one (1) year experience in the related field.

• Preferably with experience in construction QA/QC, electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), applicable construction standards, and electrical safety requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, single-line diagrams, schematics, specifications, and technical documents.

• Strong documentation, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Has excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Willing to work on-site and conduct regular field inspections.
