Job summary

HRTx Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Manager (Chemical Engineer) to oversee QA operations across manufacturing, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will manage QA systems, certifications, and continuous improvement within commissary operations.

The role requires a licensed Chemist or Chemical Engineer with 5+ years in Food QA/R&D/Manufacturing, including 3 years in a managerial role, and willingness to work onsite in Danao City, Cebu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Management programs based on regulatory, global, and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with QA policies, GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, ISO, and other quality requirements.
• Manage QA operations, laboratory activities, and documentation to meet quality objectives and maintain certifications.
• Drive product quality and food safety improvements while supporting expansion, innovation, and cost-saving projects.
• Oversee departmental resources, budgeting, and organizational development.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate QA team members; identify training needs and support career development.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and government agencies (FDA, NMIS, BAI, BFAR, LGUs).
