Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a Mid Technical Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure quality and performance across web, mobile, and API applications. You will own QA activities within agile teams, contribute to automated test suites, and act as the main quality gatekeeper for releases.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong collaboration with developers, product managers, and DevOps, and continuous improvement of QA processes to support stable, high-quality software deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years in QA with manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing web, API, and mobile apps.
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD.
• Experience with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST, JSON).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing of web, mobile, API and microservices.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites and integrate with the DevOps pipeline.
• Own QA activities within agile teams and act as gatekeeper for deliverables.
• Ensure testing across functional, regression, integration, and UAT.
• Collaborate with developers, scrum masters, stakeholders, and clients to meet requirements.
• Define testable user stories, prepare test scenarios and cases, execute and report results.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, presenting testing progress.
• Improve QA processes and test coverage.
