Job summary

Filinvest Group seeks a MEPFS QA Engineer to conduct QA/QC inspections, prepare and submit inspection reports, and ensure construction standards and safety compliance on project sites in the Philippines.

The role focuses on developing QA/QC procedures, identifying defects, and supporting commissioning of MEPFS equipment, while coordinating with project teams to review plans and ensure regulatory compliance for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer status.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Develop QA/QC standards, processes and methodologies.
• Ensure activities comply with standard procedures and methodologies.
• Ensure products meet customer expectations and standards.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Record and report defects, issues and concerns.
• Ensure work progresses according to schedule.
• Witness testing and commissioning of MEPFS equipment.
• View and evaluate plans and specifications; escalate issues.
• Attend coordination meetings to resolve project issues.
• Monitor non-conformances, site observations and punchlists.
• Assess progress billings and change orders.
• Process and sign Certificate of Completion.
• Ensure project compliance with local government requirements.

Job Summary

The MEPFS QA Engineer conducts QA/QC Inspections, preparation and submission QA/QC inspection reports, ensure that construction, standard procedures and methodology are implemented and complied, ensuring awareness of all aspects of construction activity in order to provide quality assurance and safety standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL

• Develop Quality Assurance standard, process and methodology
• Ensure that activities are performed in compliance with the standard procedure and methodology
• Ensure that products meet customer expectation and standards
• Adhere to quality and safety standards
• Can identify defects and recommend corrective actions
• Record and reports defects, issues and concerns
• Ensure work progresses according to schedule
• Facilitate and witnesstesting and commissioning of MEPFS Equipment

DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING

• View and evaluate plans and specifications and call the attention of the concern parties
• Attend coordination meetings to resolve project issues and concerns
• Monitors all issued non conformances, site observations and punchlists
• Assess and check progress billings and change orders
• Process and sign Certificate of Completion
• Ensure that the project implementation complied with the local government unit, requirement, rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time

Technical Competencies and Skills

Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Knowledge in MEPFS T&C, Knowledgable in Construction Codes and Regulations

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

construction management experience and safety training, Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering, Licensed Mechanical Engineer, Licensed Electrical Engineer
