Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Software Quality Engineer (QA) to drive software testing across our educational technology platforms. Join us in Ortigas with a hybrid work setup, focusing on exploratory testing, defect tracking, and test automation to deliver reliable digital learning experiences.

You will collaborate with global teams and benefit from ongoing upskilling through Emapta Academy. The role requires a technical degree and 5+ years in software testing/QA, plus familiarity with automation tools

Qualifications

Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
More than 5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
Strong commitment to software quality, testing best practices, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Participate in project concept meetings to identify test requirements, quality objectives, and test coverage.
Prepare test procedures, technical documentation, and test reports to support QA activities.
Design and automate functional, performance, and other tests to validate product quality and reliability.
Conduct exploratory tests on components to identify defects, performance issues, and usability concerns.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; communicate progress to teams.
