Job summary

Salmon Group in Manila seeks a QA Engineer to help transition from a vendor-controlled SaaS to a licensed Salmon-owned payment processing platform, starting with ATM acquiring.

You will test end-to-end payment flows, support UAT and certification with external partners, and ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and production-ready. The role evolves toward POS and e-commerce acquiring, with remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or SDET within fintech, banking, or payment processing.
• Experience testing complex system integrations with processors, switches, payment networks, or ATM/POS/e-commerce acquiring.
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 and the payment transaction lifecycle (authorization, reversals, reconciliation, clearing, settlement).
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing and test automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Test end-to-end payment processing flows across APIs and ISO 8583 messages (authorizations, reversals, errors, reconciliation, settlement).
• Run manual and automated testing across the processing platform and integrations (ATM middleware, HSM/RKL, acquiring, anti-fraud, core banking).
• Support UAT, payment scheme certification, release validation, and post-release monitoring.
