Job summary

Salmon Group, Inc. seeks a Data Analyst (Payments) to drive analytics across debit, credit, and cross-border payments. You will own mobile analytics end-to-end, partner with product and engineering to define tracking, and build dashboards for Payments products.

Relocation to Manila is required and the team emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable analytics to support growth in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data analytics, preferably fintech or payments.
• Hands-on with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, or GA4 for tracking user behavior.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on with BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Metabase).
• Familiarity with transaction data, including payment flows and data quality issues.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and insights.
• Experience with forecasting or financial reporting in a fast-scaling product environment.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile analytics end-to-end — requirements, monitoring, funnel and drop-off analysis, research, and documentation.
• Own Transaction Feed analytics for the Salmon App — merchant naming standardization, transaction categorization, and icon mapping logic.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reporting, and self-serve analytics for Payments products across debit, credit, and cross-border.
• Monitor key payment metrics and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Own forecasting inputs and financial reporting analytics for credit products and bills payment streams.
• Deliver clear stakeholder presentations that turn analysis into decisions.
