Coins.ph in the Philippines is seeking a Software QA Automation Engineer to drive automated testing across payment-related modules. You will design and execute test cases, build robust test frameworks, and work with engineering, product, and payments teams to ensure secure, reliable payment flows.

The role requires 3+ years in automated testing, proficiency with Selenium or Appium, SQL knowledge, and programming basics in Java or Python.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software automated testing.
Experience in testing payment-related projects and understanding of payment processes (orders, payments, refunds, reconciliation).
Familiarity with test processes (functional, performance, interface) and strong problem analysis.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) and ability to write/debug code.
Knowledge of basic databases and SQL for data queries.

Responsibilities

Design and execute automated test cases to ensure coverage.
Participate in requirement analysis and test planning; propose test strategies.
Build and maintain automated test frameworks; optimize test processes.
Collaborate with development, product, and other teams; communicate issues clearly.
Test payment-related modules to ensure security, stability and accuracy of payment flows.
Test interactions with payment channels (banks, third-party platforms) and verify integrations.
Write test reports and analyze results to drive quality improvements.
