Job summary

Finastra is seeking an Associate QA Automation Engineer to create and execute product test plans ensuring software meets design specifications and quality standards. You will assist the development team with process improvements, track defects, and communicate issues to stakeholders while leveraging automated testing tools and SQL scripting for validation.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of progressive technical experience in development, design or testing roles.
• 0–1 years’ experience in software testing or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Preferred knowledge of automated testing tools and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Create test cases from product specifications.
• Execute test plans and test cases; compile results.
• Set up and maintain testing environments for self or team use.
• Review software development processes to improve quality.
• Track defects from detection to resolution with developers.
