Job summary

Finastra is seeking an Associate QA Automation Engineer to join its global fintech team in Manila. You will create and execute test plans, automate where possible, and assist developers to improve product quality while supporting data validation with SQL scripts.

You will work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing to GA readiness and leveraging AI to boost efficiency and accuracy across testing activities.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years in development, design or test roles.
• 0-1 years in software testing or related field.
• Experience in software or financial industry preferred.
• Relational databases experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Create test cases from product specs.
• Execute test plans and report results.
• Set up and maintain testing environments.
• Review software development processes to improve quality.
• Track defects from detection to resolution with devs.
• Communicate product issues to stakeholders.
• Create/run SQL scripts to populate data and validate results.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Provide testing estimates for enhancements.
• Leverage AI to improve productivity and translate insights into decisions.
