Job summary

Nexus Recruitment Group is seeking a proactive QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for our enterprise systems across finance, operations, and risk-related services.

You will implement robust automated tests for web, API, and backend components, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality and reliable software releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
3+ years of QA automation or software testing experience.
Experience in financial services, insurance, or enterprise systems preferred.
Proficient in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
Experience with REST API testing tools and test management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Strong QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile knowledge.
Attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support scalable development cycles.
Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to define test cases based on requirements.
Conduct test planning, execution, and documentation of results and defect reports.
Maintain regression test suites and ensure ongoing test coverage as systems evolve.
Monitor and improve test execution performance and reliability.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
