Job summary

GECO Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented QA Support professional to join an international team. You will test insurance product configurations, perform end-to-end testing with developers and business analysts, and ensure quality across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good English communication (minimum B2) for collaboration with international teams.
• Willingness to learn QA methodologies, tools and concepts such as Jira, TestRail and defect management.
• Ability to review logs and identify unusual system behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for insurance product configurations.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across products and markets.
• Validate bug fixes and conduct smoke testing to support releases.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Junior-Level

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good English communication skills, with a minimum B2 level, and the ability to collaborate with international teams.
• Willingness to learn QA methodologies, tools, and concepts such as Jira, TestRail, and defect management.
• Ability to review logs, identify unusual system behavior, and communicate issues clearly.
• Basic knowledge of XML, JSON, SQL, or scripting languages is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts aligned with UK business hours.

Mid-Level

• Previous experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect/issue tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail.
• Experience conducting regression and integration testing for complex applications.
• Ability to independently create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with data validation and technologies such as XML, JSON, or SQL.
