Job summary

GECO Philippines, part of the GECO Asia Group, is expanding its IT support operations and seeks a Software QA Analyst in Data Automation to join our Iloilo City team onsite. The role covers manual and automated testing with collaboration among Business Analysts.

Responsibilities include designing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and creating automated tests using internal tools. You will work with global teams and contribute to QA process improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review BA documents to understand requirements and system behavior.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases for comprehensive coverage including edge cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Create and execute automated tests using internal tools.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure defects are resolved without new defects.
• Report defects in Jira with clear steps and evidence.
• Collaborate with global teams to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
• Provide regular progress updates highlighting risks and blockers.
• Support stable development and testing environments for new features.
• Use internal tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
