General Milling Corporation in the Philippines seeks a QA Laboratory Analyst to test raw materials, ingredients, and finished product samples from the Feed Mill plant. The role includes documenting results, communicating deviations for corrective action, and performing mycotoxin and microbiological tests.
The candidate will ensure equipment is maintained, reagents prepared, and QA procedures followed per GLP/GMP standards, supporting the company’s Quality Management System.
Analyzes raw materials and ingredients and finished product samples from the Feed Mill plant, or as assigned, for testing.
Analyzes special samples like additives or raw materials mentioned above for evaluation and developmental purposes.
Communicates immediately to feed mill Shift Supervisor/QA Supervisor//Senior Analyst for any test results that show deviations from established specifications, for proper corrective action.
Records all results of the laboratory tests and analysis to the log sheets or record books provided for.
Conducts validation via re-sampling and re-testing whenever a deviation or non-conformance is detected during in-line production. He/she inform production area of such deviations and monitor such deviations through repeated testing until in-line production conforms to product specifications.
Makes disposition in all FGs produced either commercial, hold and non-commercial.
Ensures the availability of materials, chemicals, and the functionality of equipment needed for all routine analyses and testing.
Ensures that all laboratory equipment/instruments are properly utilized and kept in good working condition.
Prepares laboratory reagents and conducts standardization according to established quality plan.
Reports to the QA Supervisor all defects, damages, and loss of laboratory properties incurred or noted in the course of work.
Endorses the current status of his/her work to the succeeding shift before leaving his/her workplace.
Conducts mycotoxin and micro bacteriological testing.
Conducts regular inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals and glassware’s monthly. Prepares the necessary requisition of said materials whenever the need arises.
Observes Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety procedures during the course of work.
Actively supports the documentation, installation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Company’s Quality Management System.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the QA-Feeds Supervisor and Group Head from time to time.
