Job summary

Royu Industrial Corporation seeks a PVC Chemist (R&D) to ensure product quality and develop new formulations for PVC and related materials. You will conduct comparative studies, test and optimize formulations, and qualify new products and materials to meet standards.

Responsibilities include developing optimum PVC formulations for pipes, managing material life cycles, and collaborating with teams to resolve material-related issues while driving cost-reduction through quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or similar.
• PRC license is a plus.
• At least 1 year experience in PVC formulation and testing of plastic materials.
• Knowledge in injection and extrusion processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop optimum formulations and dimensions for PVC pipes and other plastic products.
• Manage the life cycle of PVC and plastic materials, including compounding, pelletizing, testing, and material recovery.
• Ensure that raw materials and finished products conform to applicable quality and product standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs through formulation improvement and scrap reduction.
• Qualify new products and evaluate cost-effective raw materials and material alternatives.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to troubleshoot material and product-related issues and implement appropriate solutions.
