Job summary

Job Vacancy Phil is seeking a leader to head the Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) functions for PVC manufacturing. You will oversee laboratory operations, drive formulation improvements, and resolve quality issues while steering cost-efficiency projects.

The role emphasizes managing QC and R&D teams, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and collaborating with Production to meet business goals in a dynamic plant setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Registered Chemist is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in PVC/plastics formulation and compounding.
• Experience in QC, R&D, and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QC and R&D team.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ISO standards.
• Oversee testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and improve PVC formulations and processes.
• Manage BOMs, technical documentation, and laboratory resources.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to support business objectives.
