Job summary

Daiichi Properties, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee end-to-end procurement, ensuring timely sourcing, purchasing and delivery of quality materials at competitive costs while maintaining inventory and standards.

You will support development of purchasing procedures, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value to the organization, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate inIndustrial Engineering or Engineering/Business.
• At least 5–6 years of experience in procurement, especially in construction/real estate.
• Strong planning, analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely placement of purchase orders, contracts and delivery to meet stock targets.
• Manage procurement including outsourcing, review, acquisition and aftersales support at lowest cost.
• Assist in developing purchasing procedures and identifying value-adding opportunities.

JOB SUMMARY

The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of quality materials and services at the most competitive cost while maintaining approved inventory levels and company standards. Supports the development and implementation of purchasing procedures and identifies opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall value to the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders, contracts, and delivery of materials to meet order requirements and maintain stock inventory levels within the approved guidelines and timelines.
• Covers the functions related to the procurement – from the product outsourcing, review, analysis, acquisition up to aftersales support of externally supplied materials and services essential to the execution of the company’s project plans and ventures at the least possible cost maintaining the standards and quality.
• Assist in developing and implementing purchasing procedures as well as in identifying opportunities that will add value to the procurement process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably a Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Management or Engineering/Business or any four-year course.
• At least 5 to 6 years of experience in the same capacity preferably gained from a Construction, Real Estate or Property Development firm.
• Demonstrate excellent planning, business, analytical and communication .
