Job summary

Kares International in Makati is seeking a motivated Purchasing Associate to join our on-site team. You will assist in sourcing suppliers, processing purchase requests, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services needed for daily operations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, vendor coordination, and adherence to purchasing policies. No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn procurement processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requests and prepare Purchase Orders (POs).
• Source and coordinate with accredited suppliers and vendors.
• Request and compare quotations to obtain best value.
• Monitor status of POs and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with end users, suppliers and receiving personnel for timely delivery.
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and replenishment of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.
