Job summary

Lalamove is seeking a PR Associate to implement campaigns that promote and protect the brand. The role reports to the PR Lead and collaborates with agencies to align messaging for Users and Drivers.

Key duties include long-form writing, campaign development, media relations and issue monitoring. The candidate will work on-site in Parañaque, supporting timely media statements and corporate communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
• 2+ years in PR campaign development, writing and activations.
• Experience in PR agency accounts, editorial writing, or social media management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write long-form PR articles and corporate statements for media seeding.
• Manage PR campaigns with Lead and agency; develop and oversee campaigns.
• Identify media partnerships, brand ambassadorships, CSR activities.
• Monitor online channels for issues; advise on brand impact and response.
• Prepare media releases, post-campaign reports and budget considerations.
• Support other marketing duties as needed.

The PR Associate reports directly to the PR Lead and is responsible for implementing PR campaigns to promote and protect the brand’s reputation. He / she is expected to co-manage PR campaigns with the Lead and agency to strengthen long-term or tactical messaging on how Lalamove empowers communities, both for Users and Drivers.

What you'll do:

• Longform and Corporate Communications Writing- Base skill requirement is ability to write PR Articles for seeding to traditional and online media. From time to time, he / she is also responsible for crafting Corporate Communications or brand statements as requested by Media and other Partners
• PR Judgment- Helps identify the best communication projects to maximize exposure and delivery of message for long term or tactical objectives. This can be through straightforward article to PR seeding initiatives, or scaled up projects which involves campaign development & management of PR agencies
• Representation and Relationship Builder- Able to identify partnership opportunities that maximize media exposure such as brand ambassadorships, KOLs or CSR activities.
• PR Issues Monitoring- Routinely create or manage Online scans for possible issues or complaints connected to the
• brand, and be able to recommend in dispositions should the issue have a branding impact.
• Administrative- Media Releases and Post Campaign Reports, Budget Management, Media Sensitive Customer Service Statements, Competitor Scans.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

What you'll need:

• Writer. Must be able to express PR stories in long form / article writing and in tactical Media Statements
• Project Management. Has excellent organizational and planning skills for seamless campaign execution.
• Relationship Builder. Able to maintain relationships with media, agencies and corporate partners for brand building efforts.
• Can represent the company well through excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Agility. Able to craft Media Statements when the situation requires to be on demand.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with designers & other members of marketing team in order to produce desired output

What we seek:

• A relevant degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
• Minimum 2 years hands on experience on PR Campaign Development, Writing and Activations (Online and Offline).
• Previous experience in PR Agency Accounts, Editorial Writing, and Social Media Community Management are a plus.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX)
