Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Compliance Audit Specialist to help review provider arrangements and related documentation. You will validate records, perform audit testing, and prepare findings to ensure alignment with internal policies and healthcare regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in audit or compliance, with strong Excel skills and effective cross-functional collaboration across Compliance, Legal, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in audit, compliance, accounting operations, provider contracting support, healthcare finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience reviewing contracts, financial records, payment documentation, or compliance-related supporting documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with accounting, ERP, or contract management systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review provider and physician-related agreements, payment support, and compliance documentation.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of supporting records and ensure alignment with approved contract terms.
• Perform audit testing, reconciliations, and transaction reviews to identify discrepancies, control gaps, or compliance concerns.
• Prepare audit workpapers, findings, and summary reports, ensuring documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
• Maintain organized records of audit activities, supporting documents, and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to resolve audit-related issues and clarify documentation requirements.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with internal controls, documentation standards, and established review procedures.
