Job summary

WEA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support generator sizing, load analysis, and tendering activities in Metro Manila. You will review RFQs, load schedules, and SLDs, and help prepare technical proposals and BOMs.

You will coordinate with suppliers, ensure compliance with PEC/IEC standards, and assist in vendor evaluations while working with Sales, Procurement, Service, and Project teams. A degree in electrical engineering and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems and distribution networks.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specs.
• Knowledge of diesel generator systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with load calculations and equipment selection.
• Knowledge of PEC, IEC, and electrical safety standards is advantageous.
• Software skills include MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn generator sizing, proposal preparation, load analysis, and tendering processes.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, bid documents, customer specifications, load schedules, and SLDs.
• Assist in generator sizing calculations and load analysis.
• Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, deviation lists, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical documents and quotations.
• Assist in the review of vendor technical submissions against project requirements.
• Support the preparation of technical clarifications and responses to proposal queries.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Service, and Project teams to support tender and proposal activities.
• Review generator-related drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and engineering procedures.
• Meet proposal submission schedules and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Technical compliance statements and deviation lists.
• Generator sizing calculations and load analysis reports.
• Equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Vendor technical evaluation summaries.
