Job summary

Optum in the Philippines is seeking a Proposal Development Analyst to support client acquisition and retention through end-to-end RFP processes. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordinating all proposal-related activities to win business from PBM and healthcare clients.

The analyst will create internal timelines, ensure quality checks, and integrate competitive strategies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience writing proposals in healthcare or PBM.
• Experience with proposal-development processes and project management.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Qvidian is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned client RFPs by deadlines.
• Create internal timelines and ensure quality checks.
• Incorporate competitive strategies into responses.
• Coordinate with account management, finance, legal, and SMEs.
• Manage multiple projects within dictated timelines.
• Review RFP documents and communicate project health.
• Escalate risks to leadership.
• Mentor and guide colleagues in proposal development.
