Job summary

Better Components, Incorporated is seeking a capable maintenance professional to monitor and evaluate the condition of company real property assets in Davao City. The role involves supervising field maintenance staff, coordinating fabrication, renovation, and repair works, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across multiple properties.

You will prepare weekly work schedules, request materials, and perform safety checks while adhering to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess condition and status of company real property assets and submit reports on needed repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance jobs of DDTC and BCI properties.
• Respond to fabrication and repair requests by conducting consultations with requesting parties and/or actual inspections of assets requested at locations/ branches.
• Prepare schedule of work to be done for the week.
• Prepare and submit requests for construction and repair materials and supplies.
• Act as leadman for field maintenance staff.
• Do steel fabrication works at assigned properties and locations.
• Spearhead major repair works, construction and renovations.
• Take care, account for and upkeep maintenance equipment, tools, materials & supplies.
• Ensure the best quality of fabrication/renovation/repairs.
• Conduct safety checks (routine inspections) of premises.
• Adhere to established procedures, processes and make recommendations, as necessary
• Do other tasks, as assigned.
