Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Property Engineer (Civil) in the Philippines to oversee budgeting, planning, and cost-control across projects. You will review technical documents, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure construction activities adhere to approved plans, specifications, and timelines.

You will support management with reports and documentation throughout planning to execution phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer certification required.
• 3–5 years of experience in property management, warehouse facilities, or construction.
• Experience with office buildings and warehouse facilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor total project expenditures, including verification of invoices and claims from suppliers and contractors.
• Coordinate with departments to develop project objectives and specifications.
• Review and evaluate project plans, identify phases and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers regarding changes during project implementation.
• Review and approve technical documents arising from changes during execution.
• Prepare and present documents, schedules, and project status reports to top management.
• Provide planning and cost-control support for all projects, including variation reporting and milestone monitoring.

Job Summary:

The Property Engineer (Civil) is responsible for providing engineering, planning, and cost control support to projects by monitoring budgets, reviewing technical documents, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and schedules. Suppoerts project implementation from planning to execution and reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor total project expenditures, including verification and validation of invoices and claims from suppliers and contractors, ensuring all costs are properly recorded and within the approved project budget
• Analyze contracts and recommend changes; prepare necessary contract amendments as required
• Coordinate with departments to develop project objectives and specifications
• Review and evaluate project plans and proposals, identify project phases and elements, and calculate timelines
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers regarding changes during project implementation
• Review and approve additional technical documents arising from changes during project execution
• Review all required documents for processing and approval, including proposals, plans, BOQs, permits, and owner-supplied materials for procurement
• Prepare and present documents, schedules, and project status reports to top management
• Provide engineering support within the department
• Provide planning and cost-control support for all projects, including variation reporting, milestone monitoring, and preparation of customer billing requirements
• Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and schedules

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (Required)
• At least 3–5 years of experience in property management, warehouse facilities, or construction
• Experience handling office buildings and warehouse facilities is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in structural maintenance, concrete flooring, roofing, and drainage systems
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD is an advantage
• Strong coordination and supervision skills
