Job summary

The ideal candidate will manage property accounting in Yardi, handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, accruals, reclasses, and month-end close; provide Yardi P2P support and troubleshooting while ensuring accurate, audit-ready records. Remote role working with a distributed U.S. team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Yardi in accounting or property management environments.
• Strong background in property accounting, multifamily accounting, or real estate accounting preferred.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end close, accruals and reclassifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property accounting and bookkeeping activities within Yardi.
• Support AP and AR processes.
• Review, classify, code, and post invoices and transactions.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post accruals and reclassifications for month-end close.
• Review monthly postings and identify inconsistencies.
• Maintain audit-ready accounting records.
• Support timely month-end close and financial reporting.
• Post invoices through Yardi Procure-to-Pay workflow.
• Ensure payments are recorded in Yardi.
• Assist internal and property teams with Yardi questions and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and onsite staff on financial activity.
• Help improve property accounting processes as the portfolio grows.
