Job summary

Captain Jay's is seeking a Project Coordinator to keep multiple projects moving by maintaining a master tracker with tasks, owners, due dates and status. You will break projects into milestones, follow up before deadlines, and flag blockers with proposed fixes.

You will coordinate across departments, remote staff and vendors, run check-ins, and drive actionable outcomes. You will also deliver weekly leadership status summaries, build simple progress reports in Excel or Google Sheets, and help

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project coordination or similar role.
• Strong ability to track open items and explain progress.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master project tracker with tasks, owners, due dates and status.
• Break approved projects into tasks and milestones with realistic dates.
• Follow up with owners before deadlines and flag blockers with fixes.
• Coordinate across departments, remote staff and vendors.
• Run recurring check-ins and capture action items; chase till closed.
• Produce weekly leadership status summaries and simple Excel/Sheets reports.
• Write and update SOPs and maintain organized shared folders.
