Job summary

Brief description of the General Functions of the position:

• The Project Technical Assistant II (Full-Time) will support the implementation of the UPLIFT-Agri Caraga project for twelve (12) months, based at Caraga State University, with field assignments across the Caraga Region. He/She will help establish and monitor community vegetable gardens, implement climate-resilient and circular agriculture practices, and conduct pest and disease monitoring and basic field diagnosis. The Technical Assistant will also support training activities on vegetable production, composting, and biopesticide preparation, and help develop and disseminate pest management advisories and IEC materials. In coordination with LGUs, the City Agriculture Office, and partner agencies, the role includes assisting with beneficiary identification, community mobilization, and field coordination. The position will collect and consolidate field data on crop performance, pest incidence, and technology adoption

Additional tasks include documenting project activities, assisting with logistical arrangements, and supporting communication platforms, such as social media and mobile advisories, to ensure the timely dissemination of information. The Technical Assistant II will work under the Project Leader's supervision and is expected to contribute to efficient project implementation, monitoring, and documentation.
