Mpws is seeking a Resident Mechanical Engineer to supervise all mechanical works on a wastewater construction project. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule completion per drawings and specifications.
The role requires PRC-licensed mechanical engineers with 5–10 years in mechanical construction, knowledge of pumps, piping, HVAC, and wastewater equipment, and strong coordination with multiple teams. Project-based work in Pasay/Alabang, Philippines.

The Resident Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing all mechanical works on a wastewater construction project, ensuring installations are completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Supervise installation of mechanical systems such as pumps, piping, valves, blowers, sludge equipment, and treatment-process machinery.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation teams, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Monitor construction progress, quality, and schedule compliance.
Witness testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues or construction clashes.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, including confined-space and lifting activities.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, punch lists, and completion documents.
Assist in quantity verification, variation orders, and project handover activities.
