UPTC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise technology and digital transformation projects for a China-based software and telecoms client. You will manage initiatives from initiation to delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure scope, timelines, budget and quality meet expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in IT project management, with experience in enterprise applications, telecoms, OSS/BSS or digital transformation.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise technology and digital transformation projects for a China-based enterprise software and digital-transformation company with a strong focus on the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of IT and digital transformation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, technical teams, QA, implementation teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related coordination with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, progress reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed requirements and timelines.
• Identify potential project risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
• Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with technical and business teams to translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within enterprise software, telecommunications, technology services, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience managing projects involving enterprise applications, software solutions, system implementation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with telecommunications companies, telecom platforms, OSS/BSS, network-related solutions, or other telco technology projects is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the software development/project lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, issue resolution, change management, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
