Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage project staff according to established policies.
• Monitor and communicate project progress to supervisors and clients.
• Prepare status reports and monitor budgets.
• Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project
• Prepares and distributes a description and timeline of the project
• Studies project design, customer requirements performance standards then determines project specifications
• Present cost estimates and performance standards
• Conducts tests assuring safe and satisfactory product performance
• Prepares status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors and schedules
• Keeps an accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects
• Present procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project
• Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with rules and regulations of the client and the company
• Evaluates performance of workers and recommends courses of action to improve performance
