Job summary

The VITO Group is a Philippines-based company seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale solar projects from planning to completion. You will ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while meeting quality, safety, and client requirements and serve as a key liaison among clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams.

We expect 3–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in solar projects, and a solid track record in scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant project management experience, with at least 2 years handling large-scale solar projects.
  • Proven experience in managing solar construction, installation, or renewable energy projects from planning to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, progress monitoring, and risk management.
  • Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, solar installers, consultants, and clients.
  • PMP certification or other relevant project management certification is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of the projects, keeping them on schedule and budget, while maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Maintain top-quality customer service with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and other information.
  • Evaluate the installer’s progress reports to manage project risks.
  • Present project progress reports, key findings, and recommendations internally and to the client.
  • Manage weekly meetings with contractors to discuss project progress.
  • Engage and coordinate internal resources, engineers, consultants, and solar installers in the preparation and execution of project plans through completion.
  • Review and take ownership of project schedules for construction and delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage solar installers, conduct project meetings, and provide weekly progress reports to clients.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of construction bid amounts and contract terms.
  • Work closely with Business Development team members providing recommendations on how to enhance and improve building and/or site configuration.
  • Provide site evaluation and due diligence including hiring consultants and evaluating/overseeing when required.

The role will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality, safety, and client requirements. The Project Manager will serve as a key point of coordination among clients, contractors, solar installers, engineers, consultants, and internal teams. The role requires a proactive, assertive, and results-driven individual who can effectively manage project risks, resolve issues, drive project progress, and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Job Description:

  • Strong commercial awareness, including familiarity with construction contracts, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
  • PMP certification or other relevant project management certification is an advantage
