Job summary

Aurora Talent is seeking a Project Manager – Solar Power to lead the project lifecycle from design review to commissioning, coordinating with clients, EPC partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, strong Solar PV experience (BESS a plus), and excellent client-facing communication. Expect an international, multidisciplinary team and growth opportunities within renewable energy projects across Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong experience in the solar power industry, preferably with an IPP, utility, EPC/engineering consultancy, renewable energy developer, or power sector organization.
• Strong experience in Solar PV projects; experience with BESS is highly advantageous.
• Strong client-facing, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and with multinational, cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team throughout the project lifecycle, including design review, equipment manufacturing, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, EPC partners, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, deliverables, quality, schedule, and technical compliance.
• Review engineering documentation and ensure alignment with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Depending on experience, support preliminary design, preparation of technical/functional specifications, and EPC contract negotiations.
• Provide technical and project management guidance to the project team and ensure successful project delivery.
