Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to develop and deliver complex technical projects focused on data center and network infrastructure initiatives. This role will engage with key stakeholders and navigate the complexities and magnitude of infrastructure design and compliance. Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks to datacenter delivery will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and budgets. This role will lead, drive, and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale network infrastructure deployment projects while coordinating and leading technicians and cross-functional teams. You will also engage with vendor teams to make sure the delivery of quality product, produce proper documentation, execute on network plans, and update all internal tracking tools for handover to operations teams at the end of the project. Project Scope and Execution Management

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Strategic planning for data center infrastructure programs and projects
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data center and network projects
- Develop and collaborate for detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Align activities with engineering teams, vendors, stakeholders, and field service teams.
- Manage program budgets and resource constraints
Technical Leadership
- Provide leadership for data center and network projects and translate complex technical and high-density network mapping into actionable installation requirements for field teams.
- Evaluate and recommend best practice for technical solutions and remediation
- Support technical team on structured cabling and low voltage tasks to ensure quality, accuracy, safety, and efficiency
- Ensure network project performance, quality, data center policy, and client standards
Documentation & Process
- Maintain and updates technical documentation, network diagrams, layouts, and any changes
- Create and manage technical specifications and requirements
- Establish change management processes for network infrastructure
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data center and network infrastructure support.
Technical Skills
- Experience with network hardware (switches, routers, load balancers, IDS/firewalls)
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud networking concepts
- Understanding of data center operation, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and design (i.e. Spine / Leaf, Load Balancing...)
- Device installations per NOC or engineering team:
- Physical Servers
- Storage & Backup Devices
- Server and Appliances
- Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (e.g., Nutanix, Cisco UCS)
- Tape and Disk Storage Units
- SAN Fabric Switches
- Network Router and Switches
- WAN Optimization Devices
- Security IDS and Firewalls Devices
- Wireless Access Points and Controller
- Optical Transport System, Service Provider MUX, and Termination Device (MPOE)
- Cabinet/Rack Power Distribution Units (3KVA and below)
- KVM Switch (Hardware and Software)
- Proficient in Low Voltage/Electrical and Wiring/Cabling Standards.
- And service support:
- Network (WAN/LAN/Wireless) Service turn up and migration
- Cable Testing and Tester – OTDR, OLTS, UTP testing, and Power Meter
- Inside Plant and Outside Plant
- Troubleshooting and isolation testing
Leadership & Communication
- Incident Management: Strong understanding of incident management, communication, escalation processes, and on-the-job improvement to complete project on time and according to standards.
- Field Workforce Coordination: Supervise and orchestrate the daily on-site activities of cross-functional field technicians and vendor teams based on circumstances and severity
- Operational Training & Competency: Establish and enforce technical training baselines for field teams, ensuring proficiency in data center safety, infrastructure standards, and industrial label-printing hardware.
- MOP & SOP Field Enforcement: Direct execution of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and act as the ultimate authority for all tasks.
- Site Safety Leadership: Drive compliance with critical safety protocols, including the enforcement of personal protective equipment (PPE), hard hat, and ladder spotters
- Logistics & Staging Management: Manage field logistics workflows—including material request, port-mapping validation, and asset staging to ensure that field teams have the necessary hardware and materials available to maintain schedule progress.
Desired Qualifications
