Job Description
The Project Manager will lead and deliver infrastructure initiatives for the Global Network and Unified Communications (UC) organization. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that implement and enhance enterprise-wide network and communications technologies across commercial offices and manufacturing environments worldwide. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with Global Engineering Services, Facilities, and cross‑functional IT teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and operational needs.
Global Network & Unified Communications Delivery
- Manage projects focused on the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of the global network infrastructure, including:
- Local Area Networks (LAN)
- Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Network border and edge services
- Lead initiatives supporting global Unified Communications technologies, including:
- Cloud Voice solutions
- Cloud‑based Contact Centers
- Cellular Antenna and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
Site Infrastructure Projects
- Partner with Global Engineering Services and Facilities to plan and deliver IT infrastructure projects for:
- New commercial office and manufacturing site deployments
- Office consolidations and expansions
- Decommissioning and technology deinstallation for closed sites
- Ensure network and UC solutions meet operational, security, and manufacturing requirements.
Project Execution & Governance
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts in alignment with organizational standards.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless execution.
- Track project milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and proactively address issues to maintain delivery commitments.
- Ensure compliance with global IT, security, and network architecture standards.
- Provide clear communication and status reporting to leadership and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and improve network and UC deployment processes.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to best practices for future global infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, preferably in global or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of network technologies and Unified Communications solutions.
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams including IT, Facilities, Engineering, and external vendors.
- Solid project management skills with experience using standard PM methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial network environments.
- Familiarity with cloud‑based voice and contact center platforms.
