Job summary

The role covers end-to-end project lifecycle from concept to handover, coordinating electrical works, liaising with authorities, and developing team capabilities to drive sustainable outcomes for the organization.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer with relevant field experience.
• 8–10 years of experience preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Drawing reading and understanding of GD&T.
• Project management experience with cost,time and resource reporting.

Responsibilities

• Long-term infra planning and development of systems for multiple projects.
• Electrical and project management responsibilities across projects.
• Coordinate to ensure cost control, risk mitigation, on-time completion, EHS and quality.
• End-to-end project management from concept to handover with capex discipline.
• Manage project life cycle: feasibility, business case, capex approvals, engineering, procurement, construction and handover.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and approvals.
• Track progress with look-ahead, actions, risk escalation and mitigation.
• Team building and training to upgrade skills.
• Present project deliverables and roadmaps to management.
• Optimize project costs and manage budget variances.
• Support regional factories with significant projects.
• Authority to allocate resources and make decisions within time and budget constraints.

The position / About the Job

In this job the Project manager -1 would be responsible for:

• Long Term Infra Planning, developing systems and processes for Multiple Projects management
• Project & electrical management
• Effective Coordination to establish and Maintain Projects with cost Control, Risk mitigation, Ontime completion, EHS and Quality.
• End to end Project management from concept to handover with strict Capex and timeline.
• Responsible for project life cycle - feasibility study, business case presentation, capex approvals, basic and detailed engineering, procurement. construction management and handover with documentation
• Ensuring compliance to all Statutory requirements and its approvals
• Mapping Project progress with key focus on look ahead, action required, proactively escalating risk, mitigation plan.
• Team building, training for upgradation of team skills
• Presentation of complete Project deliverables, Road map to management
• Managing project cost control, spend and variance.
• Opportunistic for Value engineering and usher team vigilance throughout project lifecycle.
• Support factories or region India with significant projects.
• Has the authority to make decisions and manage the allocated resources, within given time frame and budget.

• Electrical Engineer graduate, having relevant experience in the same field.
• Liaisoning with MIDC/ Electrical inspector & concern authorities
• Minimum 8 Years to 10 Years of experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Drawing reading and understanding of GD &T
• Project management experience with reporting metrics of cost, time and other resources.
