Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee projects in support of business initiatives. You will lead project teams, manage requirements, and coordinate with stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and cloud-based platforms, with emphasis on maintaining compliance and ensuring timely execution of IT initiatives in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in application systems design, analysis, development and maintenance.
• Experience with banking operations is preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manages one major project or one or more minor projects.
• Develops and manages processes to meet business requirements cost-effectively and on time.
• Directs project team, defines roles, sets objectives, coaches and monitors performance.
• Manages stakeholder communications including vendors and third parties.
• Raises and resolves project issues, keeps team informed of status.
• Coordinates with business users to assess feasibility and effort for requirements.
• Conducts project reviews to ensure quality and process adherence.
• Oversees production systems resources for incidents and ad-hoc needs.
• Maintains technical and domain expertise and stays updated with industry trends.

Responsible for managing IT projects in support of business initiatives

How will you contribute?

• Manages one major project or one or more minor projects
• Develops and manages processes (technical and business) to ensure plans are in place to meet business requirements in a cost efficient manner and within specific targets
• Manages project team, defines roles and responsibilities, sets performance objectives and standards, ensures proper coaching and training, monitors and evaluate performance
• Manages communication among the stakeholders of the project including vendors and 3rd party partners
• Ensures project issues are raised and resolved at the appropriate levels. Keeps project team informed of the overall project status
• Manages business requirements by coordinating with the business users to help assess feasibility and establish time and effort
• Performs project reviews with team to ensure quality systems are development/maintained through the use of established techniques and adherence to process standards and to the MLPP compliance laws and regulations.
• Manages production systems by ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to handle production problems and ad-hoc requirements
• Maintains and sustains technical and business expertise on assigned business domains and its associated and related technologies.
• Ensures that applied technologies are kept up-to-date with industry trends

What will make you successful?

• At least a 4 year graduate or a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any IT related course
• At least 5 years of responsible experience in the areas of application systems design, analysis, development and maintenance work involving mainframe, midrange, microcomputer systems
• Relevant exposure to banking operations is preferred
• Develops and manages business and technical processes to deliver project requirements.
• Handles project resources to meet project objectives.
