Job summary

Maschinen & Technik Inc seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead solar project design and execution across stages from planning to commissioning. You will manage risks, contracts, and stakeholder communications while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a REE license, a minimum of 5 years in renewable energy, and proven solar project delivery. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with PE licensure.
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) required.
• PM certification (PMP/ PMI) preferred.
• 5+ years in renewable energy, solar project design/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Procedural reporting of projects and developments for key targeted and commercial accounts.
• Hands-on involvement in all stages of engineering design and solar PV equipment issues.
• Lead construction, commissioning, project management, risk and contract management.
• Negotiate and award projects to general contractors.
• Oversee solar project management; ensure on-time completion within budget; enforce EH&S during construction.
• Lead stakeholder communications with clients, joint ventures, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Lead project licensing and permitting; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Submit weekly and monthly project status reports and develop action plans to mitigate delays.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and drive efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication; maintain organization and problem-solving.

Job description

• Procedural reporting of all projects and developments for both key targeted and commercial accounts plan.
• Hands on experience in handling all stages of Engineering Design & technical issues related to Solar PV power plants and Solar PV main equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in overall Construction, Commissioning, Project Management, Risk Management & Contract Management
• Manage the negotiation and awarding of the project to general contractor
• Lead the management of the Solar Project and ensure timely completion within the approved budget. Establish the EH&S program for the construction phase and ensure that the general contractor and all other stakeholders are complying.
• Lead customer relationship and be the point of contact among all stakeholders., i.e, client, joint venture, consultant, contractors, suppliers
• Lead project licensing and permitting. Ensure project compliance to local and national regulatory requirements.
• Submit a weekly and monthly report for project updates and as such identify and develop action plans to mitigate the risk that will affect the project completion.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar energy and Design Engineering
• Proven track record of successfully managing solar projects
• Strong knowledge of local statutory rules and regulations related to solar energy projects.
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Technical expertise in solar energy systems and technologies.
• Familiarity with environmental and safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• PMP, PMI or relevant project management certification is a must.
• Preferably residing in the South (Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Laguna, Cavite, etc.)
