Job summary

OPEN INNOVATION INC. is seeking a Project Leader with strong C#/.NET development skills and business-level Japanese (N2) to manage software projects across offshore and onsite teams.

The role requires direct communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders, plus experience in progress reporting, issue escalation, and task coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Leader or in an equivalent software development leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET development.
• Japanese Language Proficiency: N2 – capable of handling business-level communication in Japanese, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience coordinating between offshore and onsite teams.
• Ability to communicate directly with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in project progress reporting, issue escalation, and task coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects and coordinate between offshore and onsite development teams.
• Communicate directly with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders to collect requirements and provide updates.
• Produce regular project progress reports, escalate issues when needed, and coordinate task assignments with all parties.
