Job summary

OPEN INNOVATION INC. is seeking a Project Manager/Project Coordinator to coordinate client requirements and drive projects in a Japanese-English bilingual environment.

You will act as the primary contact between clients and internal teams, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely deliverables through disciplined process control. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to understand project explanations and internal coordination conducted in Japanese.

Qualifications

• Bilingual communication skills including Japanese (N3 or above) and English for coordinating with clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Act as primary contact between clients and internal teams (Madoguchi).
• Ability to explain project scope, schedules, tasks and targets to clients clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and elevate issues.
• Monitor project progress and ensure process compliance to keep projects on track.
• Basic understanding of network systems, EDI, authorisation systems and testing workflows.
• Willingness to learn credit card operations business processes through training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client requirements with internal teams (Madoguchi) and manage expectations.
• Explain project scope and timelines to clients in clear terms.
• Identify risks and issues; propose and implement solutions.
• Monitor progress and enforce schedule controls for on-time delivery.
• Understand and communicate project explanations to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
