Job summary

Myvan Holdings, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Project-In-Charge – Civil Engineer to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure alignment with approved plans, specs and schedules.

The role requires PRC licensure (preferred/required) and experience in building construction, civil/structural works, and site supervision. Strong coordination and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred/required.
• Experience as a Project-In-Charge, Site Engineer, or equivalent construction position.
• Preferably with experience in building construction and civil/structural works.
• Experience or knowledge in panel installation is an advantage.
• With background in progress billing, quantity take-off, estimates, and project documentation.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable construction standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, workers, and other project personnel.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper quality of civil and structural works.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, site documentation, and progress updates.
• Review quantities, accomplishments, and supporting documents for project billing and progress billing.
• Assist in the preparation and checking of estimates, material requirements, and project cost documentation.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other site requirements.
• Identify and report construction issues, delays, and site concerns to management.

About the role

Project-In-Charge – Civil Engineer who will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day implementation of the construction project. The successful candidate will ensure that construction activities are completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.

Key responsibilities
