Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects. The Project In-Charge will be responsible for coordinating manpower, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and reporting project updates to management.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations and ensure project activities follow approved plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding project requirements and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
- Ensure that materials, equipment, and manpower are available and properly utilized on site.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Address site issues, delays, and operational concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily accomplishment reports, manpower records, and site logs.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure proper coordination with other departments involved in the project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Preferably with 1–3 years experience in construction project supervision.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and construction standards.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in site supervision or project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
