Job summary

AUTOPHIL ZONE SALES CORPORATION is seeking a field engineer to take solar projects from design handover through installation, commissioning, and turnover. You will be the day-to-day technical and coordination point on site, ensuring work aligns with drawings and manufacturer instructions.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering, a valid license, and 1–3 years in solar PV or related fields.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • PRC license (REE or RME) preferred; strong recent graduates may apply for junior track.
  • 1 years in solar PV, electrical construction, or related field.
  • Able to read and produce electrical and structural drawings; proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Comfortable working at height on rooftops; willing to deploy provincially.
  • TESDA Solar PV Systems Installation NC II or equivalent.
  • Exposure to PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar tools.
  • Basic safety training (COSH / SO1 or SO2).
  • Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare layouts, single-line diagrams, string configurations, cable schedules, and mounting details for review.
  • Conduct site assessments: roof condition, structural capacity, shading, existing electrical infrastructure, and equipment placement.
  • Prepare bills of materials and support procurement with technical specifications.
  • Supervise installation crews and subcontractors; ensure work follows approved drawings and manufacturer instructions.
  • Track daily progress, manpower, and deliveries; flag delays early.
  • Enforce site safety — fall protection, electrical safety, PPE — and lead toolbox talks.
  • Execute commissioning checks: continuity, polarity, insulation resistance, open‑circuit voltage, string current, earthing, inverter configuration and monitoring setup.
  • Prepare as‑built drawings and complete turnover packages; attend to service calls and preventive maintenance.
