Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience with a main contractor on infrastructure or building projects.
• Experience in MRT station works or tunnelling is advantageous.
• Good understanding of drawings, site coordination, and project execution.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and support the Project Manager and Project Engineers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and site teams to ensure safety and adherence to drawings/method statements.
• Monitor progress to match project schedules and quality standards.
• Assist in supervising civil works such as reinforced concrete structures and deep excavation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, LTA requirements, and safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing method statements, work procedures, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently hiring Site Engineers and Project Engineers (up to Senior level) to join a top-tier A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, delivering large-scale LTA MRT and Tunnelling construction project.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Project Manager and Project Engineers in supervising daily construction activities on MRT infrastructure projects including underground stations and tunnelling works.

Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and site teams to ensure construction activities are executed safely and in accordance with approved drawings and method statements.

Monitor site progress and ensure construction works are carried out according to project schedules and quality standards.

Assist in supervising civil works including reinforced concrete structures, deep excavation, diaphragm wall construction, and foundation works.

Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, LTA requirements, and safety regulations.

Assist in preparation of method statements, work procedures, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with consultants and internal engineering teams to resolve technical and construction issues.

Ensure site activities comply with MOM and LTA workplace safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience working with a Main Contractor on infrastructure or building construction projects in Singapore.

Experience in MRT station works, tunnelling projects, deep excavation, diaphragm walls, or reinforced concrete structures will be advantageous.

Good understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and project execution.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
