Job summary

LPPA Design Group, Inc. is seeking a competent Electrical Engineer to provide technical direction and ensure successful electrical works across our projects.

You will work with project teams, contractors and consultants to resolve technical concerns and ensure safety, efficiency and adherence to requirements. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a valid PRC license, and at least 5 years of relevant experience in building construction or similar infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer with valid PRC license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical works for building construction or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, codes, standards and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFAs, RFIs, shop drawings and other technical documents.
• Provide clear, technically sound recommendations preserving design intent.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings and provide electrical guidance.
• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyor and Site Engineer to support project implementation.
• Monitor and resolve electrical engineering issues across sites.
• Prepare electrical progress updates and project developments for reports.
• Ensure works comply with approved plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Support delivery of quality, cost efficiency, safety and timely completion.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are looking for a competent and highly driven Electrical Engineer who can provide sound technical direction and ensure the successful implementation of electrical works across our projects.

This role is ideal for a professional who combines technical expertise, strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and sound engineering judgment. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical concerns and ensure that electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review contractor submissions, including Requests for Approval (RFAs), Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and other technical documents.
• Evaluate submissions and provide clear, technically sound recommendations while maintaining the integrity of the approved design intent.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings and provide technical guidance on electrical-related matters.
• Coordinate closely with the Quantity Surveyor and Site Engineer to support efficient project implementation and timely resolution of site concerns.
• Monitor, evaluate, and resolve electrical engineering issues across assigned project sites.
• Prepare and contribute electrical progress updates, technical concerns, recommendations, and project developments for project reports.
• Ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Support the project team in achieving quality, cost efficiency, safety, and timely project completion.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer with a valid and updated PRC License.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the implementation and supervision of electrical works for building construction or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical concerns and provide practical, safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders.
