Job summary

Spectrum Audio Visual Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, as well as experienced engineers looking to take ownership of AV system integration projects from award to completion.

You will coordinate projects, manage site activities, review drawings, and provide technical support to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction. Strong communication, planning, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Audio Visual, Electrical, IT or a related discipline.
• Read and interpret AV schematic, layout and construction drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Good planning, coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and responsible.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned AV projects from award to completion, with guidance from the Project Manager.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, schedules and milestones, and address issues impacting delivery.
• Manage project stakeholders and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and site activities to meet project requirements and schedules.
• Monitor installation progress and workmanship to ensure drawings and project standards.
• Manage BOM and project variations/change orders.
• Ensure site activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Review and interpret AV schematic, layout and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with Drafters and technical teams on construction/shop drawings and requirements.
• Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, reports, variation orders, as-built and handover documents.

We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery team.

We welcome both fresh graduates looking to start their career and experienced Project Engineers looking to further develop their capabilities and take greater ownership of projects.

You will be involved in the delivery of professional AV system integration projects from project award to completion with the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

1) Project Coordination

• Coordinate assigned AV projects from project award to completion, with guidance from the Project Manager where required.




• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.




• Monitor project progress, schedules and key milestones, and proactively address issues that may impact delivery.




• Manage project stakeholders and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

2) Site & Resource Management

• Coordinate manpower, materials and site activities to meet project requirements and schedules




• Monitor installation progress and workmanship to ensure works are carried out according to drawings, project requirements and company standards




• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and project variations/change orders




• Ensure site activities are carried out safely and efficiently

3) Technical & Project Support

• Review and interpret AV schematic, layout and construction drawings




• Coordinate with Drafters and technical teams on construction/shop drawings and technical requirements for project execution

4) Documentation

• Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, reports, variation orders, as-built and handover documents throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Audio Visual, Electrical, IT or a related discipline

• Able to read and interpret construction and schematic drawings




• Good communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in dealing with clients, consultants and subcontractors




• Good planning, coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills




• Self-motivated, proactive and responsible




• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Candidates with relevant AV engineering experience (AV, ELV, M&E, construction, system integration) and exposure to project coordination are encouraged to apply.
