Spectrum Audio Visual Pte Ltd is seeking a Resource Planning Executive to coordinate manpower deployment, material requirements and technician capability development across multiple projects.
You will partner with Project Managers and Engineers to forecast needs, allocate resources, and optimize material usage, ensuring teams have the right people, materials and skills when needed.
We are looking for a Resource Planning Executive to join our AV Technician Team (Project Delivery Department) to support the effective planning and utilisation of our resources across multiple projects.
You will be responsible for coordinating manpower deployment, project material requirements and technician capability development to ensure our project teams have the right people, materials and skills when needed.
1) Manpower Planning & Development
Plan and coordinate AV Technician deployment across multiple projects based on project schedules, workload, site requirements and the skills/competencies required for each job.
Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and relevant teams/departments to understand ongoing and upcoming projects in the pipeline, forecast manpower requirements and plan resources ahead of project commencement.
Adjust manpower allocation according to changing project priorities and situational needs.
Monitor resource utilisation and identify manpower shortages, conflicts or inefficiencies early.
2) Material Planning & Control
Plan and determine the type and quantity of installation materials required across ongoing and upcoming projects.
Monitor stock levels and submit material purchase requirements to Operations, ensuring sufficient materials are available while maintaining reasonable inventory levels.
Coordinate and allocate materials to respective projects based on project requirements and schedules, while minimising shortages, excess stock and wastage.
3) Technician Capability Development
Maintain an understanding of the AV Technician team's skills and competencies, and identify capability or skill gaps that may affect current and future project requirements.
Recommend relevant technical, product and skills training to HR and Project Delivery management to address identified gaps and support the continuous development of the team.
Diploma in Engineering, Audio Visual, Electronics, Electrical or related discipline preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AV systems integration, installation, project coordination or a related technical project environment.
Good understanding of AV installation processes, site requirements and installation materials.
Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.
