Job summary

Prime Power Energie System Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to lead electrical and mechanical installation projects on-site in Metro Manila.

The role requires coordinating with project owners, monitoring daily progress, and ensuring safety and quality of installation works. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, with 3+ years of project engineering/management experience; licensed engineers are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer is a plus with at least 3 years of experience in project engineering and management.
• Willing to work on-site and start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Executes/Monitors Gantt charts with materials, manpower and tools/equipment schedules.
• Attends site meetings and coordinates with Owners Project Representatives.
• Monitors and supervises the projects daily with full coordination of site foreman/leadsman.
• Prepares and submits project technical submittals and drawings.
• Ensures safety and quality of installation works.
• Monitors installation of genset, busduct and transformer.
• Establishes and implements construction schedules using Gantt chart and MS Project.
• Reviews contractor proposals and drawings to identify missing information and align budgets.

Job description

• Executes/Monitors Gantt Charts with Corresponding Materials, Manpower and Tools/Equipment Schedules.
• Attends Site Meetings and Coordination with Owners Project Representatives.
• Monitors and Supervises the Projects Daily for Accomplishments with full coordination of Assigned Site Foreman/ Leadsman.
• Prepares and Submits Project Technical Submittals and Drawings.
• Make smooth coordination with Diamond department.
• Ensures safety and quality of the Installation works.
• Knowledgeable in installation of substations, such as generator sets, busways, and as well as transformers.
• Supports the leaders throughout decision-making and launch by providing regular compliance reports to drive process improvement and corrective measures.
• Prepares and reviews engineering specifications, scope of works, schedules of payments and other documents.
• Makes recommendations to improve design construction means and methods and materials based on the field or changing condition.
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Controls engineering activities to maintain: obtain work standards, adhere to timelines and meet the quality assurance targets.
• Performs constructability reviews encompassing independent, structured assessment of construction bid documents.
• Reviews progress controls for project quality assurance, health, and safety.
• Completes daily construction tasks while providing safe working conditions, staying on budget and meeting project deadline.
• Reviews contractor proposals and sets of drawings prepared by the firms to identify the missing information, generate questions, and align budgets.
• Establishes and implements construction schedules, methods, equipment and labor requirements using Gantt chart and MS Project.
• Prepares diagrams, charts and surveys showing information about job location and project scopes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Engineer, is not required but a plus with at least 3years experience in project engineering and management.
• Must have an adequate knowledge and hands-on experience in substations, installation of genset, trouble shooting, mechanical and electrical equipment such as: Genset, busduct and transformer.
